I've never looked at the RH Bible, I'm interested in your review.~

Yes, the RHCE covers a lot of "understanding" issues, from the criteria I
have seen. You need to know both how and WHY, which many other programs
fail to emphasize, and I've seen many Windoze people struggle with when
trying to cross over to Linux (PPP bieng a prime example). My cert from
GRCC in UNIX Admin was very lacking in basics such as process forking,
modularity, etc... But they taught alot of specifics like korn shell
programming, etc.. which I think is a BIG mistake. I'm personally
considering RHCE, and intend to pick up one of those books to see how much
of the information I've already absorbed, and I'm told there are good
sections on fixing corrupt file systems (nitty gritty fsck), and such, which
are areas that don't get much coverage and you really need to know about
when you need to know about them. The test is not cheap however.
