The internal PCI modem in the Solo 2150 is a host-based Windows modem, so it
won't work with DOS, Linux or Unix.

The modem is a PCI modem in a Gateway Solo 2150 Laptop. Gateway does not
give an actual modem name or number it is an OEM modem and not an after
market one.

Which modem are you referring to? The ISA Master and also the Call Waiting
modems support those operation systems.

I was just wondering if this modem was a winmodem or if it was workable in
DOS/Linux/Unix.
Thanks
