It might be worth it to try one of the Winmodem drivers,  I know the one
for the Lucent chip set works.  Not ideal, but it's better than nothing.

On another note, are there any Winmodem PCMCIA cards?  And has anyone used one
of those cards that lets you add PCMCIA slots to a desktop machine?  I'm
still looking for a way to wedge a whole bunch of Winmodems into one
machine for use as a PBX.
