Re: Software Warning?
Unlikely perhaps, but I would respectfully suggest that no-one
relies on that unlikeliness to prevent it from happening. It's
opposed by a lot of groups, however the supporters of UCITA don't
have to woo those groups for it to pass, they have to woo the
people who make laws. That is exactly what they are doing too.
They are promising to relocate to states that pass UCITA citing all
the increased revenue that those states would enjoy by having a
large software company's main offices located in their state.
Remember that it's that kind of talk that has made governments
(city and state level) fork out millions of tax dollars to pay for new
stadiums.
