yeah, it should look horrid with the 550c/560c/6xx filter cause it's a
different printer set... just cause i can this is what i know about HP
printers: the filter set you are printing with is expecting the printer to
print using 'photoREt' technology where as your printer (the 832c) is
expecting picture information in a 'photoREt 2' format so it will create
problems for you

actually i wouldn't be surprised if the 832c and 895Cse would operate with
the same generic setup as they are in the same "family" of printers, the
832c just supposedly designed to not handle the workload as the 895 nor
yielding the same speed (possibly and likely just an engineering precaution
to make the 895 more attractive, but maybe the 895 does have a faster little
motor) anyhow if all else fails (cause the 832's still a little new,
discontinued, but not too old) try to see if following the steps for an 895
work
then again i'm not a linux genius, nor even all that good at using it...
just what i know about printers :)

i have a 720 myself... i knew it was a WinPrinter going into it... i don't
use it in Linux, and i plan on passing it on to my sister eventually when i
can get one of the new 'photoREt3' 9xx printers :) 4mbs ram, yeah baby
yeah...
