made of configuring Linux boxes with clustering

$5 million in redundant hardware. What can be done
with the current software available for Linux and a
relatively small budget? Large organizations are not
the only people who will want to maximize "UP TIME!"
Contact the project coordinator "Dirk Bartley"
<bartleyd2@net-link.net> for more info. A SIG mailing
list is being considered. Raj of VIK Consulting
is assisting.

III. PRESENTATION RECAP

Tonight's KLUG Presentation:
*****************************************************
- Beginner's Meeting, Redhat Demo, & Install Session

Robert G. Brown presented the Linux Beginner's Info
in the front of the room, Bruce Smith demonstrated
Linux Redhat and many associated programs on his laptop
to a reporter from the Kalamazoo Gazette in the back row,
and the Installmaster, Jeff Palmer, tweaked and tuned
a Mandrake Linux installation to get more desirable
results. The reporter was overwhelmed with enthusiastic
Linux activity and took notes furiously! She noticed
that Jeff's installs looked rather easy, typing in the
RPM's, he was successful! Bruce had a blast "showboating"
many of the Linux/X bells and whistles. He gave an
excellent demo. Bob's info was packaged in a tight
and logical new format - the basics you need to know to
get started. This presentation, and several others, will
eventually be posted to the KLUG 'Past Presentations' web
page.

There were delicious peanut butter rice crispy treats
with a gooey chocolate frosting served at the meeting!
 W O W !!! T H A N K S BRENDA!!! Yum X 2 :))
