Re: why not Java?



Depends on what you want to write for.  Microsoft has made it a habit of
skewing programming languages with "features" that will run only on a
Microsoft ever-moving target OS.  The nice thing about C is Linux is
written in it, and you don't have as many questions about what you are
getting.  Do you know if anyone is planning on re-writting Linux in
Java?
