Telnet vs. XWindows

I am currently using Telnet to access my RH6.1 Server.  Works great but no
GUI on the desktop with this method.  Previous also used XServer from
Frontier software to connect via the client to server.  This method isn't
supported in RH 6.x.  Any suggestion of (a) how to access via telnet with
GUI -or- (b) an XWindows client to run in Win 9x?  Thanks.
