Re: ncpmount trouble
Thank you. "/sbin/insmod ncpfs" did the trick. I already had IPX
loaded, and now I'm a pretty happy camper. Right now I'm
wondering if Wine will be able to run the administrator as Novell as
has not see fit to provide a GUI admin tool for Linux, (unless you
want to go to 5.1, but then it's browser based).
It definitely sounds like something to try in a test-only environment
though. Wouldn't want to risk the Wine - NWAdmin32 interaction
hosing out the NDS, I'm pretty sure that would honk off my
colleagues something awful.
Aside to Mr. Zimmerman comments:
Yes, the Novell/Linux integration is an interest of mine also, as
there are services that Linux can provide to Netware that Novell
makes you pay through the nose for. It's been a pretty quiet topic
(An article or two about something Novell is *planning* to do to
embrace Linux and OSS... but never anything concrete.)
If anyone has already covered any ground, let me know okay? I'm
just beginning down this road, so any heads-up on the nasty
potholes would be a good thing.

"If you don't think life is interesting,
you're not paying enough attention." me, 1987-ish.
