Re: printing woes



Hmm... I didn't see this the first time.

here are a few hints:

if you're not a security fiend, chmod 666 /dev/ttySo will leave the
serial port open for R/W by any and everyone.

I use lpc to monitor printer stuff.  Just enter a ? at the lpc> prompt
for info.

You can start/restart lpd this way.  You can always kill the lpd process
(to stop) and type lpd to start.
