Part II of the Random Comments epic miniseries

Thanks all, for your many replies.  I got part of this whole mail thing
finally figured out (I don't get mysterious greetings anymore) and I now
understand far more about e-mail in linux.  Thanks again!  However, I
have a new problem.  I've got mail working great in root, but
unfortunately my other user, Josh, just won't cooperate.  It lets me
send mail fine and dandy, but refuses to allow mail to be sent to it.  I
know what the problem is: there's no /var/spool/mail/Josh file, but I
don't know how to fix the problem.  It's just not being created.  What
shall I do?  And how do I send mail to the different lists?  I really
should be sending this to novice.

Oh, btw, do any of you all out there know anything about networking in
that other O$?  My school is interested in having me sysadmin the school
newspaper's network, and I really don't know a whole lot about it.
