My method of fighting SPAM is simply to be predatorial.  When I get 
SPAM I report it to the source (ISP usually), or moron whose got 
sendmail configured wrong to relay all messages.  They usually cancel 
the account or fix their mail server.  I also get less and less SPAM, 
almost like the SPAMers somehow know who it is that reports them.  
Anti-SPAM tools are like Anti-Virus tools, a gimmick, the solution is 
to go after the problem at it's source.
