RE: Netscape help
I just had the same problem. The cleanest way to fix this is to uninstall
the original RPM before installing the 4.73 version.. Since the uninstall
does not work remove the /usr/bin/netscape and
/usr/bin/netscape-communicator directories and that ought to get rid of it
once and for all. Then reinstall 4.73 in /usr/bin/netscape
That fixed it for me.

Subject: Netscape help
Greetings.
Today I updated to BSWare 6.2 #7. Everything seemed to go fine... except....
Now when I try running Netscape I get the following message....
"netscape-communicator: program is version 4.73, but resources are version
4.72."
It wants me to check some environment variables ($XAPPLRESDIR,
$XFILESEARCHPATH, $XUSERFILESEARCHPATH), which I did and they are all blank.
So, I tried to delete Netscape 4.73 using the rpm. It tells me that it is
not installed. So I try installing Netscape 4.73 and it tells me that it is
already installed.
I don't really care about bookmarks (I have them backed up) and I don't use
Netscape for mail so I would really like to nuke it and start over. What do
I need to do?
