Re: Secure FTP



Sorry, I should of explained.

I am trying to protect the data here not the password.  The security I
am using is that I am not allowing the user to see the files.  So in
order for some one to get to the data they would need to know the exact
file name along with the directories it is under.  Once we get the data
into the ftp site we send of a fax or an email to give our supplier the
exact name and as far receiving data they all just know where to put it.

I did anonymous because I did not want to make accounts for every one.

hope that is clear. I open to other suggestions.  The only other way is
to create a generic username and password and give that to everyone. 
But that still leaves me with sending the DATA in the clear over the
internet.
