Received yesterday, I pass this on in case anyone wishes to attend. I guess
we're part of "greater Ohio"! :)

Subject: An invitation to Ohio area LUG's
Good day, I run the Toledo Area Linux Users Group and would like
to extend an invitation to Ohio area linux user group members to
attend our July 12th meeting (more info at http://www.talug.org/next)
which we feel can benefit many in the linux community.
Our July meeting will feature a talk by John Terpstra of TurboLinux.
John H. Terpstra is the Vice President of Community Relations for
TurboLinux and is responsible for the global communication and
interaction with the Open Source community and Linux user groups. John
is entrusted with protecting the Open Source nature of the TurboLinux
distribution and ensuring that all TurboLinux patches are contributed
back to the community. John serves on the Linux Standards Base, the
Linux Professional Institute and is on the Board of Directors of Linux
International for TurboLinux. John is also a member of the steering
committee for the Linux Internationalization Initiative (LI18NUX). Of
course, John is most recognized as a founding member of the Samba Team.
In addition to John's distinguished background, he has built a
reputation as a dynamic trainer and an articulate presenter.
This meeting is one you definitely won't want to miss. It is a rare
occasion when we get such an established name in the Open Source
community to present at our meetings. John can speak on a wide variety
of topics, although he loves to talk about SAMBA and how it can benefit
the Enterprise market.
Thank you.
