Re: Video Card Recommendations...
I'm two Nvidia (Riva TNT) cards and am very happy with them. One is a 16MB
TNT (a.k.a. Graphics Blaster) and the other is a 16MB Riva TNT2.
I'm not sure what chipset your Dell has on board, but you may find that
xfree86 version 4 supports it. Go to www.xfree86.org to get it. You may
want to take a peek at the FAQ at http://www.xfree86.org/FAQ/. Particularly
Q.A10 and Q.A11.
http://www.xfree86.org/4.0/Status.html has all the currently supported
chipsets. You may find that even though your video card is a "Hanks House
of Video Cards" brand card, it uses a standard ATI or S3 chipset which is
supported.
