RE: Where to get used (cheap) hardware

MSU salvage is in a warehouse.  Your allowed to walk around, handle the
equipment, ask them to power it up, etc.  I believe it's tuesday and friday
8:00 am till 5:00pm.   Most of the good stuff is gone early though.
Co-worker just got a very nice MAC for $45.  He says he has seen them sell
on ebay for $500.
