I've found their prices for old, obsolete parts to be rather high.

I'm looking more for a salvage type of operation, not so consumer oriented.

For instance, http://acme.ecn.purdue.edu created a 16 node AMD K6/2 FreeBSD 
cluster for $3,000.  They bought NICs for $1, racks for $10, ... from a 
place called Purdue Salvage.  That's a little far to drive.  Western has to 
have a outlet for old hardware.  Anyone know anything like that?
