To all concerned with mail and freewwweb:

They BLOCK port 25 to ALL servers other than smtp.freewwweb.com.

Therefore if you wish to send email while using freewwweb you are obliged
to use smtp.freewwweb.com as your smtp smarthost for your MTA (exim,
sendmail, whatever).

They don't seem to block it at ALL times, which makes it appear like a DNS
block out, however it is IS NOT.  It took me several month's (and a lot of
cussing at exim [which of course was NOT causing the problem) to discover
this.  If you suspect that I am right you can test for yourself by doing a
telnet (your smarthost or the direct server you are emailing) 25

and see it time out.  FREE SERVERS CAN BE ANNOYING ;)
