Wow! What a week....

Well, I'm now a Windowless household!

Thanks to a rather absolute hard drive crash early Thursday morning (while I
was asleep) my Windoze machine is totally trashed.

So, I made up my mind to get ppp and a Linux box working.... 

Well, 36 hours later.... I'm typing to you from kmail.....  <G>

I don't know what the problem was with ppp, but last night it would not dial
the internet. Minicom worked fine, ppp wouldn't.... Got home this afternoon and
everything is working fine!

Well, I'm off to go find an icq client, AIM client, etc....
