Micron Laptop Display

I have been trying to setup the LCD display for SuSE 6.4 without success.  I
have checked out the "Linux Laptop" page mentioned in earlier messages but it
appears SuSE has changed its file layout substantialy.   What I do know is that the chip 
set is Cirrus GD-7555 and the refresh rate is 38.7 Horiz. & 60 Vert.  with 2 MB
of memory. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Next question.  I am also trying to set up a Linksys 10/100 w/ 56K modem card
in this machine.  I've seen some mail from unhappy Linksys customers here
lately.  Is there any hope for this card?
