That didnt work, it said something like unknow name or something... but
anyway, i installed linux again, and i am up and running again. No problem.
My next question is, how do i change the permissions on "mount" so that the
user group can use them.. right now it says only root can use it. I went
into fstab and put in "user" on the cdrom line, but it still doesnt work,
and it says
-rwsr-xr-x 1 root root
when i type ls -l mount..
how do i change it so my user "alan" in "group" can use it?

thank you,
-alan
