writing to the clipboard...

Here's a dandy!

I'm up late working on my web site and I'm trying to figure out a standard
font/format for the title of each page...  I decided to write a quick shell
script that (once I decide upon this standard) would dump out the HTML for me
when I enter the title of the page as a parameter.

Now, I can have it dump to the console or to a file but what would be REALLY
useful is if I could just write it directly to the clipboard so I can paste it
into my document...

is this a simple process?  I use middle click on the for pasting ...
