Runlevel problems

I'm sure someone can help me and it's probably a
simple oversite on my part but I am unable to boot to
a graphical screen. I have changed my runlevel to 5 in
the inittab and this still doesn't work. I am using
Storm 2000 (Hail) and was just wondering if anyone
might have some insite.
