RE: bar-code reader

Yes and the makers of CueCat (I hate those colons in the name) are trying to
get it shut down. You can get the software at
http://www.flyingbuttmonkeys.com/useofthingsyouownisnowillegal/ (or at least
directions to it) as well as info on the whole sordid affair.

> Hi, KLUGers,

I've just visited a Radio Shack store where they gave me a free bar code
scanner along with a catalog so I could get more information from their
website about specific items. The scanner is a neat item called a
:Cue:Cat which of course I would like to use in LINUX instead of M$. It
is inserted into the keyboard line so avoids having to use any normal
ports.

The question is: Has anyone seen any LINUX software to talk to this
device?

    See you tonight, Ralph deal@kzoo.edu
