If you use XDM to login it's /etc/X11/xdm/Xsession
If you use gdm look in /etc/X11/gdm/Sessions and there is a script for each
"session" you can select from the GDM panel.
You can put the commands in those scripts.
I don't know anything about kdm (or whatever their logon manager is called).
