Well, you can't put it at the END of Xsession,  you want to put
it toward the beginning or it won't get executed till AFTER
your window manager exits (when you log out).  ABout the last
thing Xsession does is start the window manager.

startx?  I don't know if that runs Xsession.  I think it
runs something like /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc,  but I'm just
pulling that out of my foggy memory.

In X you can reprogram just about anything.  Maybe it's time to
replay my X resources presentation.  I love X.
