That's strange he would be reluctant. It seems like it would be standard
setup for every machine on the network.
For future reference, you can extract that information from a Win 95/98 box
running DHCP with the "winipcfg" program. Start it from "Run..." on the
Start Menu and see what happens. If you're running NT, you can get it with
the "ipconfig /all" command from a dos window.
If the windows machines are configured manually, _right_ click on "Network
Neighborhood" -> properties and then properties on the TCP/IP protocol.
