Re: WMU Surplus Sale - Computer Equipment



My friend jon (also a member of this list) and I went to this thing.  It 
was the first auction we've ever been to... definitely a learning 
experience.  
We got some great deals (and some really bad ones).  I highly 
recommend the next one of these to people.  We got: about 5 
working monitors, three working computers, a lot of power cables 
and keyboards, a 200mb external SCSI drive, 5 486 motherboards 
w/ 66 MHz processors, some assorted expansion cards, and a 
bunch of junk for about 70 bucks.  And we found the fast-talking 
auctioneer guy mentioned below to be particularly humorous.
Anyone else go and get anything great? I saw a bunch of sun 
monitors, but no one seemed to want 'em (they looked pretty old).
