Re: Question about Apache server

I played with Comanche a long time ago. It sucked big time.
Maybe it's gotten better . . .

I can't help you there, because I've never compiled Apache,
but I can't help wondering why you are going to so much trouble?
o Install Redhat from scratch.
o Select the Apache web server to be installed.
o Boot the new Redhat installation.
o Point a web browser at the new Redhat install.
o Your web site is up and running!!! It's a slam dunk!
o Replace the default Redhat web pages with your own HTML.
If you need to make any changes (may not be necessary),
tweak the Apache config file with your favorite text editor.
It's well commented and easy to change. If it makes you
feel more comfortable, buy the O'Reilly Apache book.

That's nice.

Please do NOT call me. (I am dead serious here!)
There is nothing I hate worse than doing phone support.
