Look up 'man mount' and try to set fstype "auto". The options in /etc/fstab
are nothing more than mount options.
And, is /dev/fd0 owned SUID/SGID root.root or root.floppy? Add your username
to the /etc/group floppy, if it exists, and you can use 'mount /dev/fd0'.
