   Your best bet....

   Use Minicom and log onto Compuserv manally.... Write down WHAT Compuserve is
asing for  - for user name and passoerd prompts....

   Then edit your /etc/ppp/chat-ppp0??? or equivelent file and make sure that
chat is looking for the SAME type of prompts... Best bet is to use like the
last 4 characters or login  (username) and password (read as ogin / name /
word)... then have the script feed the prompt your username / password.

   MAKE A BACKUP copy ( cp /etc/ppp/chat-ppp0 /etc/ppp/chat-ppp0.bak BEFORE you
change anything.....
