Computer parts...

Hello.  I was planning on building a computer from scratch with money I get
during the holiday season (hey when you are still in highschool, you get
free gifts!), and had a few questions.  I was planning on getting some sort
of Asus motherboard and an Athlon Thunderbird chip (900 mhz or so, but im
gonna overclock it).  Will all of this hardware work with the newest Red
Hat?  Also, what is suggested in terms of hardware.  I am planning on
partitioning and running winblows on at least part of this computer.  What
in terms of hardware should I get?
