Re: Cirrus TFT Display
Hello Mark,
I had trouble with a Cirrus 7548 on a Compaq Laptop. Tried Debian,
Slakware, then Mandrake (7.2). Mandrake fired it up right away. I'm
not 100% happy with how Mandrake comes "out of the box" but now that
the hardware has been working I'm been chipping away at it to get it
the way I want it.
Suggestion: Try Mandrake 7.2 on that box, see if it's happy with X
then. If you're really attached to SuSe, make a note of (and/or copy
the config files and make sure you're using the same versions of X and
drivers and try those config files on a SuSe install.
