troubles with rp3

I have just loaded Redhat 7.0 as my operating system and am having trouble
getting a connection to my ISP.

I am trying to use rp3 configure to setup my connection.
when I run the debug feature I can see the following occur:

The Login is sent correctly

The Password is sent correctly

then my ISP sends a menu of choices with the correct option being "5", which
is to begin a ppp session.

Unfortunately, rp3 sends "2" , which is the wrong option.

Does anyone know how to modify rp3 so that it responds with the correct
response , which is 5, to the menu options provided by my ISP?
