Caldera does have an NDS client, but I have never used it. Last I read though
the license fee was only $2 a seat. I chose to go with "true" LDAP however. If
your NDS server sports an LDAP gateway you might be able to use pam_ldap and
nss_ldap. Otherwise make sure "NCP filesystem support" is enabled in your
kernel or that the "ncpfd.o" module is in "/lib/modules/2.2.16-22/fs" (which it
should be in RH7.0).

I used ncpfs once, some time ago, it worked. Can't say much else, not very
familiar with Netware jargon.
