Haven't got a clue,  but I don't think so.  The PCS phone I played with
just seemed to be "online"

Yes MANY WAPy things are available for Linux,  do a search at freshmeat. 
Even a PHP Internet mail package that generates WML (WAP Markup language I
suppose).,  so their might be a legitamate use for it after all.  Just
can't image reading an e-mail on a 20x4 screen.
