Nomination/Election Guidlines
Nomination/Election Status and Guidelines. Please take a moment to read
this important information. Thank you!
Nominations will close on January 5th at 12:00 Noon
Voting will commence at the January 9th Meeting. Prior to that night's
election, (for those of you who cannot attend the January 9th meeting)
you may cast your ballot via e-mail. The election committee will send
out an e-mail ballot to all members of our mailing list. Upon receipt
of this ballot, make your selections and send it to
elections@kalamazoolinux.org.
Once your ballot has been received, you will receive a response e-mail
from the election committee asking you to verify your vote. You MUST
RESPOND to this e-mail in order for your vote to count. All responses
to the confirmation e-mail must be received NO LATER THAN 12:00 NOON, on
January 9th. Any votes received after the deadline will not be
counted.
The ballots are NOT to be posted to the mailing list. They are to be
returned to the nominating committee by direct e-mail only. Ballots
posted to the list shall be VOIDED.
Please, only one vote per member.
Eligibility: To be eligible to vote, you must have attended THREE
meetings in the past 12 months. If you are not well known to the
volunteers, please include with your ballot a list the approximate dates
of the meetings you've attended along with a short description of the
presentations at those meetings.
Any questions/discrepency in the ballot or membership status will be
left to the sole discretion of the election committee.
