I'll check that KLUG note out tomorrow.  I found out what my problem
was:  I had failed to read the details of the login procedure for MichNet
which requires a host?  replly: ppp interchange before the user name.
Now to refind the solution to the parallel port zip drive mounting.

You are right.  I do not know of any Windows resource anything like as
responsive as KLUG.
