   I'd imagine your you would edit your /etc/conf.modules file.

   My network card driver loads as follows:

   alias eth0 ne2k-pci

   I would assume you would replace ne2k-pci with your driver...

   If you need to manually set your ip address, that's in:

	/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0. (RedHat 6.2)

   I hope some of this helps..
