I love this paragraph:
Miller also said there is already definite evidence of Microsoft's predicted
slowdown in the Linux marketplace, with "Corel getting out of Linux, (and) VA
Linux not meeting the expectations. "For a so-called exploding market, this
should not happen. Sales of actual products are relatively flat.
Gee, don't ya think the $135,000,000 M$ just invested in Corel might make them a
bad example for someone "getting out" of the Linux market. Smells a bit like
manufactured evidence. Not that Corel wa profitable before it entered the Linux
market, I'd attribute their failure to truly inept management and predict they
will fail at everything they try in the future too. How about picking a
corporate strategy and sticking with it for more that six months.... Or even
more radical, actually delivery a product.... :O
Concerning "sales of actual products" does he count the Netfinity 5500 I bought
on onsale.com and my copy of BS-Ware?
I've got one world for this article: "whatever!"
