sendmail
Hi all,
Does anyone know how to scan outgoing messages for viruses when using
sendmail ?
For incoming messages I replaced the Mlocal directive to point to a
script that does the scanning for viruses and suspicious
attachments which are put on hold for further examination. But for
outgoing messages I have no clue how to do that.
Outgoing messages are sometimes shortly present in /.../spool/mqueue.
But as may be obviously ../mqueu is therefor useless as a
scanning place. If however the time present could be changed, some
system for scanning could be developed.
I can't find anything anywhere how to fix the problem, but commonsense
says there must be a better way, than scanning in .../mqueue.
Who has the clue??
Bert.
NB running on SuSE 6.3 with sendmail 8.9
