apache directory thingy...
I've got a real mind-boggler here...
Normally I find apache really sane but I've been trying to create a new
directory and make it visible on the server but it refuses to work!
Here's a partial listing of the document root directory:
4 drwxrwxr-x 4 marshall www 4096 Dec 8 11:41 admin/
4 drwxrwxr-x 2 marshall www 4096 Feb 27 19:45 doc/
4 drwxrwxrwx 8 marshall www 4096 Dec 1 15:49 htmlbits/
4 drwxrwxrwx 5 marshall www 4096 Aug 21 2000 images/
4 -rw-r--r-- 1 imago www 2581 Feb 25 16:58 index.php
4 -rw-r--r-- 1 imago www 2118 Feb 25 16:58
indie_artists.php
4 drwxrwxrwx 3 marshall www 4096 Nov 24 23:37
inside_trader/
4 -rw-r--r-- 1 imago www 2054 Feb 26 13:55 list.php
The "doc" dir is what's giving me trouble... the admin dir, images dir,
and all the others work fine! As you can see, the perms are set up
right!!!
Also, directory listing is turned on in apache, so even if there are no
files in there I should see a listing. When I go to website.tld/doc, I
get this:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /doc on this server.
Any ideas?!?!? (Oh, this is part of a name-based virtual host, if that
matters... )
thanks.
