Re: Promise IDE-ata66 controller in redhat



What have you tried so far?  Do you know about mounting drives and
stuff?  Does it show up when you boot (type dmesg to see the text that
pops up during boot)?  Does the promise controller show up?

/proc might have some info you want.  

cat /proc/modules (to see what modules are installed)
cat /proc/pci ( to see info about your PCI devices ).

man mount (to learn about the mount command)
