Vixie Cron

   Can someone point me to a good cron reference? I need to learn how to
setup cron jobs to run at specific times during the day.

   Also, I've got a number of cron.daily jobs listed in /etc/cron.daily. The
first job that run is backup.cron which is a 'dd' job that mirrors my Linux
box to the Novell server as a backup. I've been noticing that the other jobs
in /etc/cron.daily are NOT getting run. Is there a time limit that cron will
try to run a job listed in /etc/cron.daily?

   Any help is appreciated.
