Ah, yes, the stop de la bus trick. But what about lapis lazuli? Stone of 
the something? Ah:

laz' u- lite, n. [ML lazulum, azure; and -ite.] 
  --Webster's 3rd

Makes sense, as lapis lazuli is deep blue; Michaelangelo used it as the sky 
for _The Last Judgment_. But if it is standard Latin, it reads stone of 
blue. The bluestone. Hm. Everything does sound better in other languages. :)

"Stone Blue." Isn't that a Jimi Hendrix song?
