i've seen sound editing utils that could handle MP3 in the windows
world..... in linux.. i'm not sure.... i know you could unencode it edit it
as a wav... then reencode it... but it would be nicer to just be able to
edit the file directly... hmm.....i'll look around and see if i see
anything....
