I had it! ;)
I was trolling through Novell.com support, and finally changed IMAP to POP3,
on the grounds it was more popular and would have a richer field. ONE LINE:
"Groupwise passwords are not set."
and I howled! Of course! Groupwise borrows the Netware Client login
authorization for the whole workstation, as it were, but you have to have a
separate password set for Groupwise to use IMAP!
DUH!
Thanks for the advice! I'm only upset that I have to wait for Monday to use
it!
