New PARROT Language???

TEE HEE Department...  P A R R O T ?

Anyone else read about the announcement
of the new language called PARROT.  It was
billed (pun) as a cross between PERL and
PYTHON languages, the best of both.

Posted on www.perl.org, slashdot, and 
O'Reilly's home page on April 1st. 

It was an April 1st prank by O'Reilly Books!

And speaking of jokes...
Spencer Katt said "Polly want a new
programming language?  chirped the
Catbird as he pictured the geek elite
drooling over the faux language."
