Re: Mail list Software
I decided to try and use the Mailman MLM (Mail List Manager) package, and after
a titanic struggle with sendmail that had many plot parrallels to The Mummy
Returns (destroy the world, gates of hell, man eating Gremlins, earthquakes,
fickle dieties, etc...) I can claim victory.
This is a very nice package with more features and flexibility than I can ever
imagine anyone ever using. I'd highly recommend this package to anyone who
wants to run a list, and I think on a "standard" sendmail configuration all
you'd have to do is add a few lines to /etc/aliases and run newaliases. With a
sendmail configuration that looks like something out of /dev/random (LDAP
aliases and mail routing, bastion hosts, etc...) it is a little more picky, but
thats to be expected.
